A quick update on the Regator takes on Digg story we ran the other day…

Well the finalists were recently announced for the Mashable Open Web awards and Regator has made the cut in the social news category…oh yeah, and Digg didn’t.

Not bad for a 4-month old startup.

Regator’s competition is Help A Reporter and Hub Dub so it won’t be an easy win, but here’s hoping…
