It seems that whenever I’m filling in my tax return at this time of year, I often find myself looking at the poor state of public transport/education/health etc., and the figure at the bottom of my group certificate, and wondering where all that tax money goes.

Well Nathan McGinness has pulled together a sweet little web service called TaxCheck that helps answer that question

TaxCheck is a site that shows exactly where your tax money is destined to head based on the 2009/10 Federal budget.

Lots of fun (even if the white on yellow type hurts my eyes a little)… and really interesting to see where your money is going.
